Wolfpack Performance Program – What is it?

University Human Resources is pleased to announce the new online performance management system. In April 2023, the Wolfpack Performance Program (WPP) replaced the university’s paper-based evaluation process, removing the need to shuffle papers between supervisors, employees, and their corresponding HR units, to a seamless web based system where the supervisor enters the performance and development goals and final ratings directly into the PeopleSoft based module. Training – Why take it?

The Wolfpack Performance Program is a simple automated system.  However, there are important changes in the performance management steps in addition to understanding how the automated program works.  There are limited help features in the system, but there are informative user guides and training video guides available. 

It is critical the supervisors go through the online training videos or use written instructions in the user guides prior to beginning a performance plan for employees.  Asynchronous training options are available in REPORTER for SHRA and EHRA Nonfaculty plans.

Platforms and Due Dates – What is due when?

The 2023-24 Performance Cycle participants will fall into the following areas:

  1. SHRA participants – The SHRA performance cycle ends on March 31. Employees’ year end evaluations are due to be entered into the WPP no later than May 15, 2024. *Note: 2024-25 Plans cannot be created prior to April 1.
  1. EHRA Non-faculty participants – The EHRA Non-faculty performance cycle ends on June 30. Employees’ year end evaluations are due to be entered into the WPP no later than August 15, 2023. *Note: 2024-25 Plans cannot be created prior to July 1.

All NC State employees who are eligible to receive performance plans will enter their 2023-24 plans into the new WPP.
