Wolfpack Performance Program

The Wolfpack Performance Program (WPP) is NC State’s online performance management system for SHRA and EHRA Non-Faculty employees. In April 2023, the WPP replaced the university’s paper-based evaluation process, removing the need to shuffle papers between supervisors, employees, and their corresponding HR units, to a seamless web based system where the supervisor enters the performance and development goals and final ratings directly into the PeopleSoft based module.

Training and Guides

Supervisor training is available in REPORTER. It is important that supervisors go through the online training or utilize the user guides available, prior to beginning a performance plan for employees. Employee guides are also available on the user guides page.

Platforms and Due Dates – What is due when?

The 2023-24 Performance Cycle participants will fall into the following areas:

  1. SHRA participants – The SHRA performance cycle ends on March 31. Employees’ year end evaluations are due to be entered into the WPP no later than May 15, 2024. *Note: 2024-25 Plans cannot be created prior to April 1.
  1. EHRA Non-faculty participants – The EHRA Non-faculty performance cycle ends on June 30. Employees’ year end evaluations are due to be entered into the WPP no later than August 15, 2024.

The 2023-24 Performance Cycle

All NC State employees who are eligible to receive performance plans will enter their 2023-24 plans into the WPP.

SHRA

The SHRA performance cycle ends on March 31. Employees’ year end evaluations are due to be entered into the WPP no later than May 15, 2024. Supervisors can begin creating 2024-25 plans in the WPP on April 1.

EHRA Non-faculty

The EHRA Non-Faculty performance cycle ends on June 30. Employees’ year end evaluations are due to be entered into the WPP no later than August 15, 2024. Supervisors can begin creating 2024-25 plans in the WPP on July 1.
